Where visitors stay in Casablanca

Casablanca is a business city and its hotels show it. The downtown around Place Mohammed V has the Art Deco buildings, the older grand hotels and the medina at its edge; the Corniche at Ain Diab is the seafront strip of resorts and clubs by the mosque; Maarif and Gauthier are the residential districts with the cafes and the mid-range hotels. The airport is 35 to 45 minutes south by train or taxi.

Good to know

Know which station you need
Casa Port serves Rabat, Kenitra and the high-speed line north; Casa Voyageurs serves Marrakech and the airport train. They are a tram ride apart.
Casablanca is not Marrakech
Expect a working city, not a medina postcard. Most visitors give it a night each way and the riad nights to Marrakech or Fes.

Questions before you book

Where should I stay for one night?

Downtown, near Place Mohammed V: the mosque, the medina and both stations are close, and the morning train out is easy.

Is the Corniche worth it?

For a resort-style stay with the sea and the mosque walk, yes. For sightseeing and trains, downtown is more practical.

How do I book a hotel from this page?

Each "See hotels" button opens Expedia's hotel search for that part of Casablanca, with live rates, photos, reviews and the cancellation terms. You book and pay there. All Travel Fun earns a commission on bookings made through those links; it does not change what you pay.

Can your agents book the hotel over the phone?

Our agents book flights. Call to price the flight to Casablanca; book the room on Expedia once your dates are fixed.
