Where visitors stay in Bogota
Bogota's visitor map runs north from the old town. La Candelaria is the colonial quarter with the museums and the hostels; Chapinero, with the Zona G restaurant streets and Quinta Camacho, is the middle ground with boutique hotels; the Zona Rosa and Zona T are the nightlife and shopping blocks with the international hotels; Parque 93 and Usaquen, farther north, are the calm upscale districts with the Sunday market.

Questions before you book
Where should I stay for a first visit?
Chapinero or the Zona Rosa: central enough for the old town by day, with restaurants and safe streets at night. La Candelaria is better for a museum-focused stay on a budget.
Is Bogota expensive?
Not for hotels. Good boutique rooms in Chapinero are reasonable, and the international chains in the north are priced below their US equivalents.
How do I book a hotel from this page?
Each "See hotels" button opens Expedia's hotel search for that part of Bogota, with live rates, photos, reviews and the cancellation terms. You book and pay there. All Travel Fun earns a commission on bookings made through those links; it does not change what you pay.
Can your agents book the hotel over the phone?
Our agents book flights. Call to price the flight to Bogota; book the room on Expedia once your dates are fixed.
