Which zone?
Los Cabos is the all-inclusive coast for the western US and Canada: two to three hours from Los Angeles, Phoenix and Vancouver, dry almost all year, and built around the water rather than the sand. The resorts line the 20-mile Tourist Corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas and the Medano beach in Cabo San Lucas itself; a newer cluster sits on the Pacific side and the East Cape. Many are adults-only and the whale season from December to April is the time most people come.

What all-inclusive means here
- What the package covers
- Room, all meals, drinks including Mexican spirits and beer, pools, non-motorized water sports where the beach allows, the kids' clubs and the shows. Transfers are usually extra; the listing says.
- What it does not
- Spa, golf, fishing charters and the boat tours, premium spirits at some resorts, and a resort fee at a few properties. Los Cabos runs pricier than Cancun across the board.
- Swimmable or not
- Many Los Cabos resorts sit on beaches with red flags year-round because of the currents. The pool is the beach at those properties. If swimming in the sea matters, choose Medano, Chileno, Santa Maria or Palmilla and confirm on the listing.
When to go
- December to April
- Dry, mild and the whale season. The high season for price and crowds, with the holidays and spring break at the top.
- May to June and November
- Warm, dry and quieter, with lower rates. The shoulder months most repeat visitors choose.
- July to October
- Hot and humid, with the small chance of a tropical storm in August and September and the lowest rates of the year.

Questions before you book
Which zone has the best beach for swimming?
Medano in Cabo San Lucas for a lively town beach; Chileno and Palmilla on the corridor for calm coves. Most corridor and Pacific resorts have pools instead of swimmable sea.
Does the flight come with the package?
Not through these links. The resort is booked on Expedia; the flight is separate. Call us to price the flight to Los Cabos, then book the resort once the dates are fixed.
Is Los Cabos a family or a couples destination?
Both, by resort. Many corridor properties are adults-only; the family resorts cluster on Medano and parts of the corridor with water parks and kids' clubs. The listing states the age policy.
How do I book a resort from this page?
Each "See resorts" button opens Expedia's hotel search for that zone, filtered to all-inclusive properties, with live rates, what is included, reviews and the cancellation terms. You book and pay there. All Travel Fun earns a commission on bookings made through those links; it does not change what you pay.
