Where visitors stay in Toronto
Toronto's hotels concentrate downtown, within a walk or a streetcar of the CN Tower, the waterfront and the theaters. Yorkville, a subway stop north, is the upscale, quieter pocket by the museum. Queen West and Kensington are the neighborhoods with the bars, the shops and the smaller hotels. The airport is in Mississauga, 30 to 45 minutes west, with its own cluster.

Good to know

- Pearson to Union Station in 25 minutes, every 15 minutes. A downtown hotel is practical even for an early flight.
- Summer and festival weeks cost more
- The film festival in September, Pride in June and the Caribbean carnival in early August fill downtown. Book early for those.

Questions before you book
Do I need a car in Toronto?
No. Downtown, Yorkville and the west side are connected by subway and streetcar, and Niagara runs by tour or train.
Where should I stay for Niagara Falls?
Tours collect from downtown hotels, so stay in the city. If the falls are the whole point, Niagara Falls itself has hotels with falls views and is 90 minutes away.
How do I book a hotel from this page?
Each "See hotels" button opens Expedia's hotel search for that part of Toronto, with live rates, photos, reviews and the cancellation terms. You book and pay there. All Travel Fun earns a commission on bookings made through those links; it does not change what you pay.
Can your agents book the hotel over the phone?
